CoreWeave founders sell $3.3 billion in stock since IPO

nl.investing.com (Dutch) —

Three co-founders of CoreWeave Inc. have sold $3.3 billion in company stock since its March 2025 IPO, including $2.4 billion in 2026, according to a Bloomberg report. CEO Michael Intrator, Chief Strategy Officer Brian Venturo, and Chief Data Officer Brannin McBee sold shares after the stock surged 359% from its issue price to a peak three months post-IPO. The shares have since fallen over 60% from that high, making their sold holdings worth nearly a third less than pre-tax proceeds. CoreWeave shares dropped 15% Wednesday before a slight recovery Thursday, following a record rise in the company's credit risk measure after McBee discussed tapping "unlimited" capital from insurers. The trio has collectively lost $15 billion in paper wealth since June 2025.
