Zelenskyy warns concentration of power is dangerous in Böhmermann interview
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned in an interview with satirist Jan Böhmermann that the concentration of power in the hands of wealthy individuals like Elon Musk is dangerous, while also expressing hope for increased US support following Democratic election wins. In a teaser released Wednesday, Zelenskyy acknowledged gratitude for Musk's Starlink satellite services but criticized the billionaire's stance on the war, noting Russia is the aggressor. He said Musk's influence on who should lead Ukraine represents risks, as such words from a very rich person carry weight. Zelenskyy said he hopes Democratic victories in the US midterm elections will bring more military and financial aid, potentially influencing Russian President Vladimir Putin. Democrats regained control of both congressional chambers from President Donald Trump's Republicans.
