Zelensky reveals North Korea's new plan to send troops to Russia

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Russia plans to deploy an additional 10,000 North Korean soldiers, with over 8,000 already stationed in Russia, according to Ukrainian intelligence. Zelensky stated that Russia has begun additional mobilization and is increasing foreign recruitment, while Ukraine will inform governments of countries whose citizens Russia is recruiting. He also revealed that Russia pays North Korea with technology, including support for producing Shahed-type drones in North Korea. Military cooperation between Russia and North Korea now extends beyond ammunition and troops, with Russian technology enabling North Korean weapons production. The experience gained from the war in Ukraine could strengthen North Korea's military capabilities in Asia, particularly against South Korea.
