North Korea to send 10,000 more troops to Russia, Zelenskyy says

skai.gr (Greek) —

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated Monday that over 8,000 North Korean soldiers are currently on Russian territory, with preparations underway to deploy an additional 10,000 troops. Zelenskyy said Russia has begun additional mobilization and plans to increase foreign recruitment, urging governments of countries where Russia recruits to oppose this. He also claimed Russia is paying North Korea with technology, including establishing Shahed drone production there with Russian technical support. The Ukrainian leader warned that this cooperation spreads threats globally and can only be overcome through joint action, stating he will inform all relevant governments about the recruitment efforts.
