The meeting will take place at Gracie Mansion, the mayor's official residence, and will focus on issues concerning New York City and its residents, according to City Hall. The two men first met at the White House in November 2025 after Mamdani's election, exchanging pleasantries and pledging cooperation despite their contentious history. During the mayoral campaign, Trump, 80, backed Mamdani's rival Andrew Cuomo and called the 34-year-old a "communist."
