Reddit, Roblox, Pinterest stocks fall after Q3 earnings
Reddit stock plunged up to 30% on Friday after the company reported weaker-than-expected daily active users and issued a revenue forecast below Wall Street estimates for the current quarter. Roblox shares fell 20% and Pinterest declined 7% following their earnings reports. Reddit also announced plans to test login requirements for forum access in select international markets during the fourth quarter before a global rollout. Reddit stock was down roughly 43% year to date as of Thursday's close, following a July plunge of over 21% when the company failed to announce new AI data licensing deals. Roblox beat loss and revenue expectations but daily active users fell 9% year over year to 138 million, while Pinterest missed revenue and earnings estimates despite record user numbers.
