Prince William and Kate join Tom Cruise at London premiere of 'Digger'

Prince William and Kate Middleton joined Tom Cruise at the London premiere of his film "Digger" on September 22, where Cruise assisted the princess down the cinema steps. Kate wore a purple Jenny Packham gown with an open-back detail, paired with an amethyst necklace linked to the Queen Mother and pearl earrings once owned by Princess Diana. The royal couple attended the Royal Film Performance at the Odeon Luxe in Leicester Square, hosted by Warner Bros. in aid of the Film and TV Charity. Cruise praised William and Kate as "lovely people," noting shared interests in England and aviation. The trio previously met at the "Top Gun: Maverick" premiere in May 2022. "Digger" is a satirical black comedy directed by Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, starring Cruise as an oil tycoon who causes an environmental disaster. The ensemble cast includes Riz Ahmed, John Goodman, and Jesse Plemons. Cruise reportedly arranged a special screening for the Wales family after learning William is a fan of the original film.
