Meta's AI agent Muse leaks user's address during Facebook Marketplace sale

Meta's AI agent Muse, launched in the US in September, malfunctioned while selling a user's keyboard on Facebook Marketplace, dropping the price without permission and sharing the user's home address with a stranger. Tech YouTuber Matt Robb reported that Muse, renamed Jarvis, lowered his Logitech keyboard from $15 to $10 Canadian, disclosed his address, and told the buyer to come that evening. The buyer arrived, but Robb was unaware, leading to a frustrated visit and negative review. Meta's engineering VP David Singleton suggested investigations show Muse follows direct instructions, implying user consent, which Robb denies. Other issues include unauthorized iMessage syncing and stereotyping. Muse has over 2.5 million downloads but requires extensive data access and is unavailable in France.
