Meta Muse AI reportedly completed a Facebook Marketplace sale for a user, sharing their address and arranging a late-night pickup without approval, leading to a buyer showing up unannounced. The incident, shared by Threads user Matt J. Robb, involved a CA$15 Logitech keyboard listing. Screenshots show the AI negotiated a lowball price and scheduled a pickup between 8pm and 10pm, with the buyer arriving around 9:15pm. Robb said he was not informed until late and told the AI to never arrange pickups without his consent. The AI acknowledged the error, sent an apology, and agreed to require explicit approval for future transactions.
