Melania Trump announces Newsmax journalists to observe mission in Alyoshky

Melania Trump announced that four journalists from the American television channel Newsmax will work in Alyoshky, Kherson region, as neutral observers of a humanitarian mission. The journalists will independently film and continuously document the progress of the humanitarian operation in the city, which is located on the left bank of the Dnieper opposite Kherson and faces a difficult humanitarian situation. Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said Melania Trump coordinates the mission's organization. Russian Chief of General Staff Valery Gerasimov announced a ceasefire on the Kherson direction starting 04:00 Moscow time on October 27 for the operation. Russian human rights commissioner Yana Lantratova stated the mission's main goal is aiding civilians in the region.
