CoreWeave CEO sells nearly $1 billion in stock since IPO
CoreWeave CEO Michael Intrator and affiliated entities have sold nearly $1 billion in stock since the AI cloud company's IPO in March 2025, according to regulatory filings. The sales come as shares have fallen sharply this week amid investor concerns over heavy capital spending. Most of the sales, totaling over 10 million shares, were made under prearranged trading plans, with roughly $40 million in sell-to-cover transactions for tax purposes. The selling began about two months after the stock peaked in June 2025, during a period of rapid data-center expansion and increased Nvidia chip purchases. CoreWeave, valued at $38.44 billion as of Thursday's close, has raised its annual capital expenditure forecast to $35-39 billion while building a revenue backlog exceeding $129 billion. The company did not respond to requests for comment.
