Ree Drummond's foster son arrested in Alabama on drug and assault charges

Ree Drummond's foster son, Jamar Goff, was arrested on Sept. 15 in Alabama on charges including assaulting a police officer and drug possession. The 23-year-old is being held on a $37,000 bond. Officers found Goff asleep near a fountain at the University of Alabama at Birmingham after a suspicious person call. He allegedly admitted to waiting to buy methamphetamine, fled from police on an existing warrant, and struck an officer at a hospital. Authorities also found meth and a glass pipe. Goff joined the Drummond family in 2018 as a teenager and is now reportedly homeless. Drummond has not commented publicly on the arrest, though she previously shared supportive messages about him.
