Ree Drummond's Son Jailed After Prior Violence Claims Surface

Ree Drummond's son, Jamar Goff, 23, faces new scrutiny after court documents revealed prior protective orders against him for alleged violence, following his September 15 drug and assault arrest in Alabama. He is currently jailed on $37,000 bail. An Alabama woman claimed Goff grabbed her by the throat, threw her dog into a wall, and flipped a couch with her on it, leading to a protective order in May 2025 that expired in May 2026. A separate 2022 Oklahoma order banned him from contacting an ex-girlfriend who reported violent threats. Goff was arrested after allegedly fleeing police on a UAB campus and striking an officer. He faces charges including drug possession and aggravated assault on a police officer. Drummond and her husband became his foster parents in 2018.
