Maruti Swift, Dzire, Baleno CNG Get Automatic AMT Options From Rs 7.92 Lakh

Maruti Suzuki has launched automatic gearbox versions of its S-CNG Swift, Dzire, and Baleno, with prices starting at Rs 7.92 lakh, ending the need for CNG buyers to choose manual transmission. The new 5-speed AMT variants use the same 1197cc engine, producing 68.8hp in CNG mode. Fuel efficiency ranges from 34.47km/kg for the Baleno to 36.47km/kg for the Dzire, which Maruti claims is India's most fuel-efficient sedan. The launch follows a 58% year-on-year sales increase in Maruti's S-CNG range, with July recording its highest-ever monthly sales at 83,000 units. The AMT includes a manual override for drivers who prefer shifting without a clutch.
