Iran says it rebuilt military arsenal after war, boosting combat capabilities

Iran's military announced it has rebuilt all weapon systems damaged during the recent war and added new equipment, including foreign imports, claiming its combat capabilities have been strengthened. Army spokesman Mohammad Akraminia stated Wednesday on state television that damaged equipment was repaired and redistributed, while new systems were added. He said some new systems came from Iran's domestic defense industry, while others were purchased abroad, according to AFP. The statements come amid ongoing Middle East tensions following a war that began in late February with US-Israeli airstrikes on Iran. A ceasefire in April ended nearly 40 days of intense bombing, though sporadic attacks continue near the Strait of Hormuz.
