Dua Lipa in talks to co-host Sanremo 2027 with De Martino
Stefano De Martino, the newly appointed host and artistic director of the 2027 Sanremo Music Festival, is reportedly in talks with global pop star Dua Lipa to join the event at the Ariston Theatre. According to Adnkronos, De Martino and music consultant Fabrizio Ferraguzzo have been working on the next edition since summer, including a trip to the United States. Dua Lipa previously performed at the festival in 2020 and is being considered as a co-host, though her specific night is undecided. She has no concerts scheduled during the festival, set for February 16-20, 2027. The early announcement of De Martino's appointment, made right after the 2026 edition, gives Rai a strategic advantage in negotiating with international artists. Other rumored co-hosts include Maria De Filippi and Brenda Lodigiani, the latter having worked with De Martino on "Stasera tutto è possibile."
