Dua Lipa and Maria De Filippi in Stefano De Martino's Sanremo 2027 plans
Stefano De Martino is reportedly in advanced talks to bring pop star Dua Lipa to the Sanremo 2027 Festival as an official co-host for one of the five nights, scheduled for February 16-20. The move would mark her return to the Ariston stage after her 2020 performance. The British singer of Kosovar-Albanian descent is being courted for either the opening night, the final, or a new Eurovision-themed segment, with her free schedule reportedly facilitating the deal. De Martino is also planning to invite Maria De Filippi for a symbolic special evening, given his career roots in her talent show. To bolster the entertainment lineup, comedian Brenda Lodigiani is expected to make ironic appearances across all nights, drawing on her experience from "Stasera tutto è possibile." The festival's organizational details remain under strict confidentiality at Rai headquarters.
