Chad Lowe and Kim Painter Mourn Daughter Fiona's Death at 13

Actor Chad Lowe and his wife Kim Painter announced the Sept. 29 death of their 13-year-old daughter, Fiona, in a statement to People, describing her as a "loving young girl" and "the light of our lives." The couple urged anyone struggling with mental health to contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. The family had previously lost their Pacific Palisades home to the January 2025 wildfires, with Lowe praising his daughters' resilience in an Instagram post. Fiona was the couple's second daughter, born in November 2012, and was remembered for her love of dancing. Lowe, 58, and Painter, 52, married in 2010 and have three daughters: Mabel, 17, Fiona, and Nixie, 10. The couple had shared tributes to Fiona's "beautiful soul" and her dancing, with Lowe's brother being actor Rob Lowe.
