Zelenskyy visits UAE as peace talk momentum builds in Ukraine conflict
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the United Arab Emirates on Sunday, marking his first trip there since Russia's invasion in 2022. This visit comes amid increasing discussions about potential peace talks to end the conflict. Zelenskyy attended the Munich Security Conference before arriving in Abu Dhabi. His agenda includes focusing on prisoner exchanges, economic partnerships, and humanitarian efforts. The UAE has been considered a possible venue for peace talks due to its ties with both Ukraine and Russia. The visit coincides with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov's meeting with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Their discussions centered on strengthening UAE-Russia relations.
