Zelenskyy rejects Saudi peace talks without Ukraine's involvement
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine will not accept any peace agreements made without its involvement. This comes as Russian and US officials prepare for talks in Saudi Arabia, excluding Ukraine and the EU from negotiations. Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine was unaware of the talks and confirmed it would not participate. The meeting marks the first in-person discussions between top US and Russian officials in years, following a recent call between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin. The US delegation includes senior aides to Trump, while Russia sends its top foreign policy officials. European leaders expressed concerns about being left out of the negotiations, prompting an emergency meeting in Paris to address the situation.
