Zelensky sees no need to apologize to Trump
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated he does not believe an apology to former U.S. President Donald Trump is necessary. He suggested that some discussions should have been private, following a tense meeting at the White House. During the meeting, Trump accused Zelensky of disrespecting him and Vice President J.D. Vance. The meeting ended without a planned rare earth mineral deal, and Trump later criticized Zelensky's behavior. In a Fox News interview, Zelensky expressed gratitude for U.S. support and emphasized Ukraine's desire for peace. He reiterated that discussions should be more direct and private, rather than in the media.
