Young Sykesville artist finds inspiration in wildlife through her drawings
Eden Moges, a 13-year-old artist from Sykesville, draws inspiration from wildlife. She began drawing at age six and has won awards for her work, including a second-place finish in the "Wild About Birds Art Show." Moges primarily uses pencil and watercolor, often referencing photographs for realistic drawings. She has displayed her art at the Carroll County Arts Council and participates in the Visual Art Advanced Enrichment Program. Moges enjoys creating art as a hobby and hopes to improve her skills. Her favorite piece is a watercolor painting of a golden retriever, which she considers a highlight of her artistic journey.
