Yang Dong-geun reveals Squid Game creator calls Player 007 a bad guy

Yang Dong-geun, who plays Player 007 in "Squid Game" Season 2, revealed that the show's creator, Hwang Dong-hyuk, described his character as a "bad guy." This contrasts with the character's initial likability, especially in relation to his mother, Player 149. Player 007, a gambling addict, is supported by his mother during the competition. Yang noted that without her influence, his character would likely continue to make poor choices in the game. Despite the character's flaws, Yang and his co-star Kang Ae-shim developed a strong bond during filming. Yang described Kang as a "real mom" to him, enhancing their on-screen relationship.
