Xiaomi set to launch SU7 Ultra electric vehicle in China on October 29
Xiaomi will launch the SU7 Ultra electric vehicle on October 29 in China. This model is a performance-focused version of the previously released SU7 sedan, featuring triple electric motors and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 1.97 seconds. Pre-orders for the SU7 Ultra have started, with pricing expected to be higher than the standard SU7, which begins at CNY 215,900. Speculation suggests the new model could cost around CNY 800,000, positioning it against the Tesla Model S Plaid. The SU7 Ultra includes advanced features like a 150 kWh battery and a top speed exceeding 350 km/h. It uses in-house developed HyperEngine motors and will have a similar design to the prototype, though it will not include carbon fiber materials.
