Zeni Gibson has been stalked and harassed for nearly nine years by Greg, a man she rejected at 17. Despite reporting his behavior to the police, she faced numerous failures in the legal system, which left her feeling unprotected and isolated. After a significant escalation in threats and violence in 2022, Zeni finally reported Greg to the police. He was arrested in August 2023 and charged with harassment. However, many of his actions, including offline harassment targeting her family, were not included in the charges. In November 2023, Greg pleaded guilty, but Zeni received a light sentence of supervision and community detention.
