Woman attacked by capybara while swimming in lake in Colombia

A woman was attacked by a capybara while swimming in a lake in northern Colombia. The large rodent jumped on her back and bit her head, prompting her to scream for help. A man on the bank intervened with a stick and helped the woman out of the water. She was visibly shaken after the incident. Capybaras are the largest rodents in the world and are usually seen as docile. However, they can become aggressive if they feel threatened.
