Winter storm Jett to bring up to six feet of snow across 30 US states

A new winter storm, named Jett, is set to hit the U.S. from Thursday to Sunday, bringing snow and ice to 30 states. Up to six feet of snow is expected in high-elevation areas, particularly in the West. Travel warnings are in effect as nearly 2,000 flights have already been delayed or canceled. The storm will move east, affecting the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast with up to a foot of snow in some areas. In addition to snow, the storm will bring heavy rain and severe thunderstorms to southern states, raising the risk of flash floods and tornadoes. Meteorologists are also predicting another storm for next week.
