Wingstop opening April 10 in Liverpool with new flavor

Wingstop has revealed the opening date for its first restaurant in Liverpool. The new location on Lord Street will welcome customers starting April 10. This restaurant will also introduce a new flavor: a spicy hot honey glaze. This is the first new flavor Wingstop has launched in seven years. It will be available alongside other popular options like garlic parmesan and smoky barbecue. Chris Sherriff, the CEO of Wingstop UK, expressed excitement about the new flavor. He said they created it after many requests from fans. Sherriff believes it will become a favorite among customers. The hot honey glaze will be available for a limited time for dining in, delivery, and takeout. To promote the new flavor, Wingstop collaborated with rapper Headie One and DJ Tiffany Calver for a campaign video. They aimed to reach a younger audience by reimagining classic R&B music. The Lord Street restaurant underwent renovations and removed barriers earlier this month. Inside, preparations are ongoing, with displays showcasing the menu. The restaurant can seat about 50 people, and it will be open from 10 AM to midnight on weekdays and until 2 AM on weekends. Wingstop has been expanding rapidly, with over 2,000 locations worldwide. In March 2025, it was recognized by the Financial Times as one of Europe's fastest-growing companies.
