Windows 11 to allow users to unlink Android and iPhone without removing from Microsoft account

Windows 11 is set to introduce a new feature allowing users to unlink their Android or iPhone from the system without removing it from their Microsoft account. This change comes after a long-standing issue where the option to remove connected phones was missing. Currently, users can view their connected devices in the Phone Link app but cannot remove them. The new "Mobile Devices" settings page will soon include a "Remove from account" button, allowing users to unpair their phones. However, the Phone Link app still lacks a removal option, meaning users must manage devices separately. Microsoft is testing this feature, but it is not yet available to all users.
