"When the Phone Rings" to take two-week break in December

The drama "When the Phone Rings" will not air for two weeks in December. It will skip episodes on December 14 and 20, as announced by MBC on November 28. On December 14, a documentary about Han Kang, the first Korean Nobel Prize winner in Literature, will air instead. A recap of the first seven episodes will be shown on December 20. "When the Phone Rings" follows a couple, Baek Sa Eon and Hong Hee Joo, who marry for convenience and develop a romance after receiving a threatening phone call. The show airs Fridays and Saturdays at 9:50 PM KST.
