When the phone rings takes break for documentary on Nobel laureate Han Kang

Netflix's K-Drama, *When The Phone Rings*, will not air new episodes from December 14 to 20, 2024. During this break, a documentary about Han Kang, the first Korean Nobel Prize winner in Literature, will take its place. The series, which premiered on November 22, has quickly gained popularity, topping charts in 31 countries. It features a couple in a silent, arranged marriage whose lives change after a threatening phone call. On December 20, a recap of the first seven episodes will be shown to help viewers catch up before new episodes resume. The show airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 PM KST.
