Western Command honors 53 soldiers for bravery in Delhi ceremony

Western Command held a two-day ceremony in Delhi to honor 53 soldiers for their bravery and service. Lt Gen Manoj Kumar Katiyar presented awards and the Western Command Banner to the Golden Arrow Division for exceptional performance. The second day featured a parade with six marching contingents and displays of indigenously produced military equipment, including the Pinaka rocket launcher and Akash missile systems. Fourteen soldiers received gallantry medals, and 27 unit citations were awarded. The events were attended by senior officers, dignitaries, and families of the awardees, showcasing the commitment to national security and professional excellence.
