Welling disliked filming Smallville

Tom Welling admits he was unhappy for most of his time filming Smallville, despite its decade-long run and fan popularity. He revealed on a podcast that while he remembers good moments and felt a responsibility to the cast and crew, it took years to feel proud of his work on the show. Welling also discussed his hesitation to reprise the role for a crossover and the ongoing possibility of a Smallville reboot with co-star Michael Rosenbaum.
