Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 adds Neo-Volkite pistol in latest update

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has released a new update (patch 4.5) that introduces the Neo-Volkite pistol, a thermal ray weapon available for certain classes in the game's co-op mode. Players are using it to create a powerful attack strategy reminiscent of Ghostbusters. The Neo-Volkite pistol deals accumulative thermal damage, increasing with focus on a single enemy. Players have found that using three pistols together can effectively take down tough enemies, like the Carnifex, in a coordinated effort. Currently, the Neo-Volkite pistol is limited to the Operations mode. It will be added to the Eternal War mode in a future update, which will also include new content and cosmetics.
