Walton schoolboy charged with multiple criminal offenses

A 16-year-old schoolboy from Walton has been charged with violent disorder and other crimes after incidents on Country Road on August 3. He faces charges including arson and theft by finding. He has been granted conditional bail while the case proceeds. Another teenager, also 16 and from Netherton, was arrested for his role in a separate violent incident and theft in Southport on July 30. He has been released under investigation as the police continue their inquiries. Merseyside Police confirmed that a total of 185 people have been arrested connected to the incidents. Out of these, 147 have been charged, and 128 have received sentences totaling 237 years in prison. The investigation remains ongoing.
