Volvo announces end of V90 production in September 2025
Volvo will end production of the V90, its large luxury wagon, in September 2025. This decision affects all markets, not just the Netherlands. The company is introducing a special Executive Edition before the model's discontinuation. Volvo plans to focus on new models, including two electric vehicles, the EX60 crossover and ES90 sedan. The V60 wagon will continue production, but there are no confirmed plans for an electric wagon. The V90 has been in production since 2016 and will be replaced by the 2026 Volvo V90 T8 AWD Plug-In Hybrid Ultra – Exclusive Edition. This special version includes premium features and is priced at €75,995 ($78,500) in the Netherlands.
