The volume of paid services provided to the population of the Volgograd region reached 101.3 billion rubles in the first five months of 2025, a 2.5% increase year-over-year. Volgogradstat reported that housing and communal services accounted for the largest share, 23%, of the total paid services. Other significant categories included household services, transport, communications, medical, and educational services. Household services were largely comprised of vehicle repair and maintenance, as well as housing repair and construction. Services from hairdressers and beauty salons also contributed significantly to the overall total.
