Venom gameplay trailer released for Guilty Gear Strive

A new gameplay trailer for Venom in Guilty Gear Strive has been released. This was shown just before the top 8 matches of the Arc World Tour 2024 Finals. The trailer reveals more about Venom's abilities and gameplay style. Venom will be available for players on March 24, 2025. His release was delayed to ensure a better gaming experience. In the game, he uses billiard balls and a pool cue for unique attack setups. His design has changed; he now wears a shirt and looser clothing. In addition to Venom's arrival, there are more updates planned. Frame data will be added to the training mode in May 2025. Developers will also introduce new features in the training mode over time. A ranked match update is expected between June and August 2025. This will allow players to matchmake without using the online lobby. Ranks will be determined by each character's performance rather than individual players. Looking ahead, a new character named Unika will join the game in May. Players can try Unika early at Evo Japan 2025 from May 9 to 11. Another character, Lucy from Cyberpunk Edgerunners, is also set to be added in summer 2025 as part of Season 4.
