VEJA opens São Paulo store, repairs shoes
French sustainable footwear brand VEJA has opened its first physical store in Latin America, located in São Paulo, Brazil. The store features a cobbler station offering shoe repair and cleaning services. This initiative aims to extend product lifecycles and reduce waste, reflecting VEJA's commitment to sustainability. The brand, known for ethical production and fair trade, uses organic cotton, Amazonian rubber, and recycled materials. The new store reinforces VEJA's dedication to circular fashion, building on its existing "Clean, Repair, and Collect" program. The brand has repaired over 45,000 pairs of shoes globally, promoting a culture of care.
