Data miner Tyler McVicker discovered the code name "TF" within the Deadlock update files, suggesting a project newer than Deadlock and Counter-Strike 2. This implies the game is being developed on the Source 2 engine. McVicker noted the code name's presence suggests significant progress, and it's unlikely to be a port. Valve recently ended official Team Fortress 2 comic releases, hinting at a possible shift.
