Valu Home Centers to close three stores this week in response to market changes

Valu Home Centers will close three stores this week as part of a strategy to adapt to market changes. Liquidation sales will start Thursday at the affected locations. After these closures, Valu will operate 28 stores in Western New York, Central New York, and Northwest Pennsylvania. The company, founded in 1968, is based in Buffalo and carries no debt.
