Uttar Pradesh introduces new liquor policy discounts

Uttar Pradesh is set to implement a new liquor policy starting April 1. In preparation, existing liquor stores are announcing clearance sales. Many are offering discounts of 70% to 80% on expensive foreign liquors to clear old stock. Typically, clearance sales offer large discounts to sell remaining items. Stores want to empty their inventory before the new policy takes effect. Such sales can benefit customers, with high-end products available for much lower prices. In Noida, wine shops are selling liquor worth ₹3,100 for just ₹1,000. Beer is also available with a buy one, get one free offer. These promotions have led to a significant increase in sales, with thousands of bottles sold daily. However, the offers will be available only until March 31.
