UTPB launches virtual tour to showcase campus programs and enhance student engagement

The University of Texas Permian Basin (UTPB) has launched a virtual tour that allows prospective students and families to explore the campus and its programs from home. This customizable 360-degree tour has seen over 4,000 unique visits since its launch a year ago. The virtual tour includes a real UTPB employee as a virtual counselor to answer questions. The tour is available in both English and Spanish, making it accessible to a wider audience. UTPB plans to enhance the tour with new AI features and updates to reflect campus changes. In addition to the virtual tour, UTPB is set to introduce Degree Audit Software in the spring. This tool will help students track their degree progress and plan their courses more effectively, streamlining the registration process.
