The championships are important for those looking to qualify for the U.S. Ski Team and aim for the upcoming Olympics in Milan-Cortina next year. They are currently training on the course, which is warm and set to challenge their skills. Training continues this week, leading up to the main competitions that start on Thursday and go through Sunday. The event takes place on Red Dog Run, which is easy for spectators to access from the parking lot.
