Unilever auctions 500 artworks to support Rotterdam charities

Unilever is auctioning approximately 500 artworks from its corporate collection due to changing office spaces lacking walls for display. The collection features 19th and 20th-century works by Dutch and international artists, including pieces by Karel Appel and Dick Bruna. The company found it impractical to display the art in modern, open-plan offices. Proceeds from the auction will benefit three Rotterdam-based charities supporting children with meals, education, and healthcare for the homeless.
