UCF takes action against season ticket holders reselling on secondary market
UCF athletics is taking action against season ticket holders who resell tickets on the secondary market. Some account holders received emails stating their seats will not be eligible for relocation in 2025 due to high resale activity during the 2024 season. The department encourages ticket reselling through its official platform but prohibits actions that undermine the ticket system's integrity. Less than 10% of season ticket holders were targeted, particularly those who sold or transferred at least 70% of their tickets. This move aims to protect the value of season tickets amid high demand and secondary market activity. Fans can appeal the decision, and the policy is intended as a warning rather than a punishment.
