Two Vanguard growth ETFs outperformed Buffett's S\&P 500 ETF
Two Vanguard ETFs, the Vanguard Russell 1000 Growth Index Fund ETF and the Vanguard S&P 500 Growth Index Fund ETF, have outperformed Warren Buffett's favorite, the Vanguard S&P 500 ETF. The Vanguard Russell 1000 Growth ETF has an average annual return of 16.4% since its 2010 inception, exceeding the S&P 500 ETF's 14.24%. The S&P 500 Growth ETF also beat the S&P 500 ETF, with a 16.01% average annual return. These growth-focused ETFs hold similar stocks to the S&P 500 ETF but concentrate on companies with strong growth potential. While they have higher expense ratios and lower yields, they have historically delivered superior returns.
