Two girls raped in Totton, Hampshire, days apart
Residents of a quiet town are in shock after two separate cases of teenage girls being raped occurred within days of each other. Although both incidents happened in the same area, police do not believe they are connected. The first incident involved a 15-year-old girl, who was allegedly attacked in Beaumont Road on March 1 at around 8:30 PM. Police are seeking a man in his early 20s, who is white with brown hair, a large nose, and a spotty face. They are asking for anyone with information or possible video footage to come forward. A second incident was reported on March 14, when a 13-year-old girl was raped in a park off Testwood Lane. Detective Inspector Claire Shawley addressed the community's fears and reassured them that the investigation is ongoing. She encouraged residents to avoid speculation and to report any helpful information directly to the police. Authorities are prioritizing the well-being of the victims and will continue to provide support. Anyone with information should call 101 and reference incident number 44250092935 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously.
