Two friends attacked by group of teenagers in Bury town center

Two friends, Mac Goldworthy and Daniel Flanagan, were attacked by a group of seven or eight teenagers in Bury town center after a night out. The incident occurred around 4 a.m. as they walked home. Mac, 28, suffered significant injuries, including bruises and a split eyebrow, and was taken to the hospital for a CT scan. Daniel, 31, also sustained injuries but did not need hospital treatment. Police are investigating the attack and have arrested one suspect. They have not disclosed the suspect's age or gender. The friends described the assault as unprovoked and frightening.
