Two people were killed in separate road accidents in Gurgaon over the last few days. On Monday night, a 26-year-old civil engineer named Kuldeep Verma died after his scooter was struck by a bus at Sultanpur Lake. He was on his way to a work site when the accident happened around 7 PM. Kuldeep suffered serious injuries and died at a private hospital on Tuesday. The bus driver fled the scene. Police have filed a case against the driver based on a complaint from Kuldeep's father. In another incident, a 22-year-old man named Manjeet was killed when a bus hit his motorcycle on Tuesday night in Dhankot. He was riding towards Chandu Budhera when the bus collided with him from behind. Passersby rushed him to the hospital, but he died from his injuries that night. Manjeet’s uncle reported the accident to the police, claiming the bus driver was negligent and escaped after the crash. Police are reviewing CCTV footage from both sites to find and arrest the drivers involved in these incidents. Cases have been registered in both accidents for negligent driving and causing death.
